“My eyes keep resting on your milky face / Why do I never grow tired of you / I go crazy when you smile ever so gently / Never said with such a young heart / I’m going to marry you / My heart keeps reaching for you, I’m going crazy.”
The nation’s sweetheart IU has returned with a sweet love confession, melting the hearts of oppa and uncle fans everywhere.
The singer will be dropping her new single album ‘Twenty Year Old Spring‘ on the 11th, but her self-composed song “Peach” was pre-released on May 4th at 12:00AM KST. Immediately upon being released, the song seized the #1 spot on Korean music sites such as Melon, Mnet, Bugs,OllehMusic, SoriBada, and more.
“Peach” sings of the flutters and excitement that come with falling in love, and it well conveys the emotions of IU who turns 20 this year. The sounds of the recorder and triangle which IU personally plays in the song helps round out the track, and the way she confesses her innocent but ardent love in her newest release makes her fans feel as though she is confessing her love for them.
The song is earning praise for it’s ability to appeal a wide range of music fans.
Congratulations, IU!
